The Skyline Cardiovascular Institute has assembled a staff focused on providing the care and wisdom necessary to address the gamut of cardiovascular health issues our patients might face. Certainly, we excel at the technical, but we pride ourselves on the personal. Each staff member – physician, practitioner, clinical staff and front office staff alike – are dedicated to providing the highest quality, most comprehensive level of service that we can.

Ronald I. Weiner, D.O.
After completing his medical study at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (hyperlink to Wiki: “Osteopathic Medicine in the Unites States”), his residency at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, NJ, and his cardiovascular fellowship at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ, Dr. Weiner began his almost thirty years of practice. In the late 1980s, Dr. Weiner moved south and practiced in Florida and South Carolina before settling in Tennessee in 1995.

Board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine, Dr. Weiner also has given back to his profession in many ways: serving as a medical school professor, chairing the fellowship program in which he excelled as a student, and publishing numerous academic articles explaing new and different ways of making patients better and doing so sooner. But even in so doing, Dr. Weiner never lost sight of his desire to help his patients, and his calm, comforting bedside manner shows that more than any entry on his résumé.Dr. Weiner and his wife, Kathy, have raised four sons: Adam, Matthew, Christopher and Nicholas. In his spare time, Dr. Weiner enjoys piloting aircraft and working with saltwater aquariums.
